"Old Town Prague" Old-Town Square Tip by paulcantlon

Old-Town Square, Prague: 265 reviews and 497 photos

The Daunting Powder Tower which looks over the old town square is a great place to start a walking tour. Prague is not very big, but it can be a little difficult to navigate. The Old town square features varying architectural influences, from the medieval gothic style of the Powder Tower to the baroque 18th century designs surrounding the square. Again we visited here at Christmas time, so the beautiful Christmas markets were in full swing. There are a variety of restaurants and Bohemian Crystal shops dotted all around plus many other shops that will get you out of the cold.
