"Protest Murals and Free Derry Corner" Murals Tip by ZacharyB

Murals, Derry/Londonderry: 6 reviews and 16 photos

Derry ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to the island. As a city, it is packed with history both modern and ancient. I agree that a tour of the city walls is a great way to get your bearings, but be sure to walk beyond the walls to catch the amazing murals that capture the events of the Bloody Sunday Massacre. The line the street behind "Free Derry Corner," and are not just well done but powerful. Be sure to visit the Bloody Sunday museum (2 Euro) to get a strong basic understanding of the events
