A touch of Italy in a French town
by Pavlik_NL

Next to the Italian border lays Menton. Maybe this came to be my personal favorite among the towns along the Cote d'Azur. It's completely own nature and fine style shows the Italian (or maybe I should say Monagascan) influence that has been brought in through history. Only the last few centuries this area has been French. Around Menton is a small extremely mild climat that makes it also the centre of the citrus-fruits gardens. Therefore Menton has became a garden city of worldly proportions.
