The Square and church of All Saints
by kentishgirl

Birchington on Sea is a small town on the Kent Coast, close to the bigger bustling resort towns of Margate and Ramsgate.

The Church of All Saints is a must see in this small town, Located just on the edge of the high street its famous for being the Resting place of Rossetti, and in the cemetery here its easily distinguished as there is a huge Celtic Cross for the headstone.
The church is built of local Kentish cobbles.

The town centre is fairly small, and consists of local shops, if the follow the road through the high street for a few miles you will come to Minnis Bay (see next tip!)

Quex House and Park is located just on the outskirts of Birchington, its well worth a visit, here you can see the Powell Cotton Museum and the beautiful gardens.
