"Moncton" Province of New Brunswick Things to Do Tip by PA2AKgirl

We didn't get to spend a lot of time here, but since it was recommended to us, we thought we'd at least check it out. As far as cities go, it's definitely a nice one. The downtown reminds me of Harrisburg or ever State College, PA (Penn State's town)...lots of shops, cafes and bars. It's a clean, walkable city with lots of people just hanging out. I'm sure spending a night here would be lots of fun as they make it easy to bar hop. We passed by on a Friday and heard many, many advertisements for things going on that night. Additionally, there are also galleries, the Moncton museum, farmers markets, and Magnetic Hill. Now, from what I read (but we didn't do this) you can go to magnetic hill, put your car in neutral and it goes uphill by itself. Magnetic Hill is also a family theme park--completely with restuarants, shops, go karts, miniature golf, a water park, a zoo, etc. Seems like a lot of fun, actually:)
