The best old (as opposed to old-style) pubs in Dublin city centre are, for my money -

- Mulligans, Poolbeg St (very near O'Connell Bridge, down a side street)
- Kehoe's - South Anne Street, Just off Grafton Street
- The Long Hall, South Great Georges Street
- Grogans,
- The Palace Bar, Fleet Street
- Grogans Pub, 15 South William Street

Inevitably these places will have the best Guinness.
