Another charming aspect of MOROCCO is the interesting blend of ancient culture and cosmopolitan living. The oldest of the Moroccan imperial cities, FEZ is arguably the symbolic heart of Morocco. With about 9,400 labyrinthine streets and alleys, the Medina of Fès el-Bali (Old Fez) is one of the largest living medieval cities in the world. The gates and walls that surround it make it even more magnificent. Close to the main gate is the beautiful Medersa Bou Inania, a theological college built in 1350.

Another attraction that you shouldn't miss are the tanneries i.e. places where leather is prepared and painted in a traditional way.

When I was in FEZ, I felt like I've taken a time machine and had gone back to the days of Sinbad! FEZ is just so beautiful: DO NOT FORGET to visit their famed:-

Royal Palace

Try their Moroccan Mint Tea. Yummy.
