Allemansrätten is such a great thing! It's a right that allows you to put up a tent literally wherever you want. There's a distance that must be obtained, but if you get the owner's approval, you can even camp in his garden!

Well, that's what it is in theory... I'm not really sure how it works with camping & stuff, but I have to say you do feel kinda free being able to barbecue in a city park, beach or something alike... Of course, you must respect the environment because Swedes are very conscious. But, as you can see, you can sit by the water right next to the City Hall, drink a beer & enjoy a short course in stockholmska by four locals. Förstås bangar jag inte! ;)
