Lulu's Off Broadway: "Great place to take a date" Lulu's Off Broadway Tip by billcodybill

Lulu's Off Broadway, Baltimore: 1 reviews and 0 photos

Lulu's Off Broadway is an odd pub/bar/restaurant in the Fells Point area of Baltimore. It's odd because unlike most places it isn't trying for a theme. Its feel is comfortable and neighborly, like they already know you. The food is basic American pub food, but it’s all done a lot better than you’d expect from such a down to earth place. The bar area is all red brick and oak with art by some local artists on the walls. This steps up into a cozy dining room, then, in true Baltimore row-house style, you can walk into the building next door, which is the pool room, and eventually into a very private courtyard. Four large groups of people could feel like they have the place to themselves if they were spread-out just right.

Favorite Dish: My two favorite items on the menu were the chicken salad sandwich and the garlic fries. I also had a bite of my friend’s vegetarian dumplings, which were very good. I haven't been back to try anything else, but I did see some pasta that looked good.
