"Valley Forge" Valley Forge National Park Tip by dzni

Way north of downtown Philly, Valley Forge is where I believe Washington's troops stayed for the winter prior to crossing the Delaware and moving eastward in the Revolutionary War. This is more or less an historical park, with some interesting interpretive exhibits, monuments, and old buildings, but is essentally a large park.
