"By car/by train/by bicycle" Glencoe Transportation Tip by Dabs

Glencoe Transportation: 1 reviews and 0 photos

From Chicago, the easiest way to get to the Chicago Botanic Gardens is by car. There is no charge to get into the gardens but if you drive there is a per car fee of $10.

If you take the train from downtown Chicago, you can either go to the Glencoe station and take a bus or go to the Braeside station and walk the 1.3 miles to the gardens. Train schedules can be found at www.metrarail.com

There's also a lovely bike trail that starts in Chicago and ends up at the gardens.

Instructions for all three ways of getting to the gardens can be found on the attached website.
