The Centennial Fountain, first installed and dedicated at Fountain Square in downtown Evanston on July 4, 1876 was relocated and rededicated on this corner of Oak and Lake Streets on July 4, 1951. The rose garden grew up around it as an official AAR display site. With elevated rose beds surrounding a manicured sunken lawn, the garden is a popular site for summer weddings.

Address: Oak and Lake Streets, 1 block east of Ridge Blvd.
