"Dudeldorf Romantique Hotel" Dudeldorf Hotel Tip by Ewingjr98

The Romantique Hotel is the only hotel in Dudeldorf, Germany. There are a few others in the area, not only in the small cities of Bitburg and Wittlich, but also in the village of Gondorf just a few kilometers away. However, if you happen to be in this area and are in need of a hotel, the Romantique Hotel is an excellent choice. My parents spent a few nights here during their visit to Germany in April 2000. Though the building is very old, the hotel is classy and very charming. It is just a small family-run Inn, with a nice restaurant, so don't expect red-carpet service... but they do aim to please. The family also runs a nice restaurant on the first floor that serves 3 meals per day, incuding excellent dinners of fish and steak.

Note -- the doors to the hotel are locked at 9pm, so be sure to carry your key! My father ended up sleeping on my floor because he couldn't get back in the hotel later in the night!

The Romantique Hotel occupies the Old Brew House ("Zum Alten Brauhaus") building, dating back in 1723.
