  French Telephone Card

Favorite thing: If you are going to call anywhere whilst you are here, be sure to buy a telephone card, you can buy them in most general stores and from the street kiosks too.

I bought one which was 7.50 euro, and I called the UK twice - it lasted ages!

Most public telephones will actually only take cards not coins anyway.
