The science and history museum is a great place for kids to get hands-on learning experience. This particular one is the larges of its kind in the Southwest. Displays over the 9 permanent galleries feature themes Fossils, Texas History to computers. Kidspace is one of the most popular exhibits for pre-school children. Activities include areas KidsPier, WaterWorks, Puppet Theater, and Build-A-House. There is a 14ft tall Acrocanthosaurus at the Museum’s main entrance and a 6ft tall Tenontosaurus dossi in the courtyard drinking from a flowing stream. Also at the Science and History Museeum is the Omni Theatre and the Planetariam. Combination tickets are also available for the Omni Theater and Noble Plantetarium
