"The Old Stand By" Days Inn Las Vegas At Wild Wild West Gambling Hall Tip by bhemak

I have stayed at this hotel several times. The rooms are typical semi-clean motel rooms. The place is not perfectly quiet, but not problematic. Their is a sort of scumy pool which I've never seen in use.

Unique Qualities: The great thing about the motel is its odd ability to always have a room. This is where I go when everything else is full. In addition to being available, it isn't expensive. The motel knows when it is high season, but rooms are rarely more than $40 or $50 a night. All of that and it is ten to fifteen minute walk to the strip. If you don't feel like walking it does have a full casino (black jack, sports book, crap, and of course slots). The casino has some of the lowest minimums I've seen in town, so it is good place to learn. The place is cheap in every sense of the word.

Address: 3330 W Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89103
Price Comparison: least expensive
Directions: From the Strip and Tropicana head west toward the freeway. Just past the freeway is a giant sign on the right.
Phone: 702-740-0000
Price: US$20-40
Theme: Motel
