I and my father were caught by this so beware.
You walk past a Currency converters and see an excellent exchange rate published outside.
You instantly decide that you aren't going to get as good an exchange rate as that anywhere else and go in and change all your money.
A few minutes after leaving, you work things out in your head and things don't add up because you haven't got as many euros for your money.
You go back to ask the staff if theres a mistake and they tell you it's correct and point to an exchange rate board hidden at the back of the shop.
It shows a tiered system that indicates the great exchange rate you thought you were getting is only applicable for changing amounts of money over 2000 and for amounts less than this, a poor exchange rate is applicable.
They now have your money and theres nothing you can do about it!
