St. Paul's church is built in 1602 by the Jesuits. As the church has been destroyed by fire, only the stone facade and the grand staircase that are what that remains of Macau's most famous landmark, St. Paul's.

This days the ruins house the relics of the Martyrs of Japan and Vietnam and served as a museum also. The facade itself is commonly used as a backdrop for many kungfu movies.
