"The train station" Helsingin Päärautatieasema (Central Railway Station) Tip by Henrik_rrb

  Scary trainstation-guys...

Although there are a lot of great buildings in Helsinki I have to say that the central station is something special. I still haven't really found out what these guys (see the photo) outside is doing, but I suppose they are watching if someone’s coming late for the their train, and then telling the train driver to stop and wait for them…?

Or not…

Outside the station there is also a tram- bus- and metro station. Plus a station for long distance buses.

Address: Kaivokatu 1, 00100 Helsinki
Directions: In the center, close to the white church, just 5 minutes walk.
