  Eating A Cricket
by aukjejetty

Although in Japan and China crickets are often held for entertainment, in Cambodia they serve a very different purpose: Food! In many counties insects are an important source of protein, and a favorite dish bought from hawkers.

Favorite Dish: Crickets might look difficult to eat to many people. I would suggest you try at least one, you might like the crunchy, nutty taste. It is best to hold the long legs in the back, and don't eat them, so that won't get stuck in your troath.

Directions: You can find crickets in the Khmer style restaurants, but ofcourse you can also find them at street vendors and markets.
