MANTI HOUSE: "Step into the 1880's" Manti Hotel Tip by mtncorg

Unique Qualities: Workers involved in the construction of the temple needed somewhere to stay. With extra limestone slabs of the same material used in the building of the temple, the Manti House was erected in 1880. It is directly on Main Street jsut below the temple. Rooms are comfortable and are named for former Mormon president/prophets. Atmosphere and comfort are combined. a nice base for visiting the town and area.

In July, the Mormon miracle Pageant takes place in Manti on Temple Hill. Using a cast of hundreds, the history of the Book of Mormon, Mormon pioneers and early church leaders are played out theatrically. During this time reservations should be arranged far in advance.
