The resort is situated on a 5 000 hectare game farm in the heart of the timber forests of Mpumalanga. The staff are friendly, and go out of their way to make your stay a pleasent one.
We did the self catering option. An experience too good to mention. Our "Chalet" was an 8 sleeper. The main bedroom on suite, with two other magnificiently proportioned rooms. The lounge leads out onto a balcany on stilts that literally stands on top of the escarpment. Fire place in lounge, and every womans wish in the kitchen. The chalet was serivced three times a day by house maids who were incrediblly friendly.
Unique Qualities: There is an on site restaurant, a coffee shop, a well appointed bar for the winter evenings, or to watch rugby on the big screen if that is your wish. Apart from that, there is also a homely coffee shop, and a shop that you can get all of your daily essentials from. There are three outside swimming pools, and a heated indoor pool. There are two jacuzzies, a steam bath and a sauna in the club house. Along with those, there is a well appointed gym, and a very capable lady offering everything from full body massages, to ladies waxes.
