Amonst the locals at a temple on Galungan Day

What a lucky coincidence that we are at Zen Energy Resort during Bali's festival - Galungan (Balinese Thanksgiving/Christmas to celebrate triumph of good over evil). Iyan, our yoga master, brought our group to the local temple to join in the local people's observation of Galungan early in the morning. We were quite a sight, dressed up in the traditional sarongs. Well, someone in the group overhead that foreign women are not quite as pretty as Balinese, but if we stayed long enough, we would get prettier! Don't get me wrong, we were welcomed with much amusement of course.
