  The Castle at Laugharne
by freya_heaven

The castle is really the only reason your would come to the small village of Laugharne,(unless you a Dylan Thomas fan) ofter you have seen the castle, you could pop to the pub & have a wander around the couple of village shops.
There is a pleasant walk around the outside of the castle along the estury side, bringing you out at the house Dylan Thomas lived in Laugharne. Apparently during his time here he wrote 'Portrait of the Artist as a Young Dog' in the gazebo in the castle garden. It is possible to tour his house.

Opening times for the castle are April - September: 10am - 5.00pm daily, costs 2.75 entrance.
