Antigua is mostly inhabited by African people who are descendants of slaves. They met the Antiguan Siboney Indians (Stone people).

People mainly live from cotton production, and there is plenty of fruit, like bananas, coconuts, mangoes, cucumbers, sugarcanes.

Maybe because of its rich nature and wonderful weather on this tropical island its people are so extremely friendly. Antiguans are warm and friendly people who are quite hospitable upon your arrival. All of us had a great Antiguan experience during our stay and loved as well the high educated staff of the "jet-set" hotel as the locals on the beach ...
