"Stare Mesto: the Municipal House" Municipal House Tip by OlafS
Municipal House, Prague: 68 reviews and 120 photos
This amazing piece of Jugendstil architecture was built from 1905 until 1911 to accomodate cultural and social life. Architects Antonin Balsanek and Osvald Polivka designed the building while artists like Alphons Mucha provided the interior. Don't make the same mistake as me and do go inside. In 1995 I wanted to but couldn't (closed for restoration), this time I thought I would find the time for it but didn't.
