My b/f James being let into the caves
by yaddayaddayadda

Caving. The Southern part of the Brecon Beacons National Park is riddled with caves, caverns and passages, including the biggest cave entrance in South Wales and the largest cave passage in the United Kingdom. With the guidance of Black Mountain Activities experienced cave leaders and equipped with a helmet, head lamp and protective oversuit, you will explore the beauty of the subterranean world that was formed over three hundred million years ago.
With lots of great caves in the park, we have the flexibility to choose a cave system that will suit individual group needs. The most popular cave used is Porth Yr Ogof - boasting fifteen entrances and exits including the biggest in South Wales. Your cave leader will guide you through the easy but extensive underground system, exploring the many passages along the way, building interest and confidence and an appetite.
