Favorite thing: Another common sight throughout Alberta is Hay Bales. They come in a number of forms with the most common being square and round. The square bales usually weigh between 50-70 pounds while the round ones weigh anywhere betwwen 800-1200 pounds.

Fondest memory: I remember when I was young and I would go playing on piles of round bales at the farm.
