"The Golden Building Of Piata Revolutiei" Revolution Square - Piata Revolutiei Tip by edvin_br

The building at the Revolution square
by edvin_br

The Central University Library, with its beautiful golden color and dark black roof (great contrast i belive) is one of the most elegant buildings around the Revolution square.
It was built between 1891-1895 by the arch. Paul Gottereau and was inaugurated by the Romania king Carol I.

The building was damaged during the revolutin of 1989 but since then it was renovated and now its one of the cities most beautiful sights.

Directions: Walk along the Victoriei avenue until the Revolution square, there it is.
