Stanley Park is one of the definite must see attractions of Vancouver.

If you are going to see it, its probably best to put aside a full day because Stanley Park has so many things to do.

We originally planned to hire bikes and cycle around it, however, we didn't realise you had to hire bikes outside the park until we were around 1.5km inside it!!!

So we walked, and walked, and walked, and before we knew it we had walked right around the edge back to the begining!

We did stop along the way at the Vancouver Aquarium and the Tottem Poles, and finally at the East side of Stanley Park at the Sequoia Grill for a well earned beer.

It was a great day! The weather was stunning (topping the 90's!) and the walk was just great!

We did get caught out though! Just before you reach the lions Gate Bridge, a path appears allowing you to head back towards the centre of the park. We thought this was just another path, so just walked passed it. We soon realised that this infact was the only exit off the main path for another 2km! ha ha ha!

We didn't really mind because we were enjoying the walk - it was just sooooo warm, and we had ran out of juice!
