Coffey's Restaurant: "Absolutely Fabulous Food in Boone" Boone Restaurant Tip by nancy_bill

Boone Restaurants: 25 reviews and 10 photos

Coffey's in Boone is a jewel! I just had lunch there and experienced probably the best burger I've ever had! The menu described it as "house ground sirloin on homemade bread"... and it really, really REALLY was! Oh my...with perfect fries (that were even good cold-imagine that?!), accompanied by homemade ketchup and the best slaw I've ever eaten. My lunch companion had a nicoise tuna salad with poached egg and beautiful olives and greens with potato wedges. She didn''t say a word while she ate but did ask if we could go back for dinner. Can't wait! I give Coffey's burger " two thumbs up" and can't wait to try it again. The decor was very nice and clean...up town to say the least. Great job Coffey's!
