Hydra is a beautiful little island in the Prefecture of Attica. It took us a bus ride, ferry & then a hydrofoil to get here, but it was worth it. Such a peacful place. No traffic is allowed on the Island, just donkeys!

We were here for the day wandering around the harbour & the coastline cliff walks.

An amusing sight to see was the local shops, minutes before each hydrofoil was due they would throw open the shutters, drag out their wares in to the the street, 5 minutes after the Hydrofoil had departed, they all close up again.

Then minutes before the next hydrofoil.............................................
