Although I haven't stayed at the monastery, I've heard that those who have, enjoyed the experience of staying here.
Apparently there is room for 500 people to be accommodated . Bunk beds in dorms or studio accom.
During feast days and holy days, it might be necessary to book well in advance,
Panormitis is a major centre of pilgrimage.
The Feast Day of the Monastery is November 8th, and attracts worshippers from all over the Dodecanese Islands.
Unique Qualities: Panormitis offers a relaxing location.
Apart from the monastery complex, there is a mini market/cafe, a bakery, small folk art museum, a secluded beach, and a home for the aged!
