So many people take the trip to the summer palace in beijing, but do not climb the hill to the top and see the old monastery buildings hiding on the other side, here the breeze gently rings the prayer bells and you can sit and feel the peace of the place, even see bits of great wall in the distance. With the mass of tourists below and out of reach you can relax and imagine the China of old.
