"the carpetmuseum" Tehran Things to Do Tip by global_explorer

Tehran Things to Do: 228 reviews and 552 photos

Persian carpets is a vital part of persian culture all the way from ancient times until today. Even today it is used everywhere- in homes, in mosques and even on busseats. I find it naturally to recomend this museum, showing some masterpieces not seen everywhere. Here are a variety of styles shown and the carpets vary in age from almost contemporary to close to 400 years old.

Directions: In the northern end of Kargar avenue, close to Park-e Laleh.
