"Chinatown" Chinatown Tip by mht_in_la

Chinatown, New York City: 105 reviews and 139 photos

by mht_in_la

NYC's Chinatown is the biggest I've seen among all Chinatowns in North America and Europe. (not sure if it's bigger than San Francisco's, and hard to compare with Los Angeles' as LA is so spread-out) It's not just a few blocks. It's a small city within a big city. Although it's mainly Cantonese speaking, I found many other dialects used here too. You'll find lots of restaurants, banks, and shops.

Address: Manhattan, New York City,
Directions: Canal Street stop. From there, proceed by foot through Canal Street and explore the area.
