Elk grazing near the park entrance
by Etoile2B

Driving through Rocky Mountain National Park you will see a variety of animals. Probably the easiest to spot and the most plentiful are the herds of Elk grazing throughout. Any open area you drive by will most likely have some Elk hanging around. Take your time when you drive through the park. Sometimes it?s difficult to spot the wildlife as you drive through. Be on the lookout for cars pulled over to the side of the road or other visitors standing around ? it?s usually a good indication that there?s wildlife around to be seen. Grab your camera and be prepared.
