This museum preserves the ancient inscription tablets, which are part of the "heaviest" book collection, or ancient chinese library.
Most of the tables date from the Han dinasty.
Remarkable tablet is the one that tells the history of Nestorianism Diaqin, which is one of the first Christian sects to be known in China. It is noticed by the small cross on its top.
