BlueSwing: "The Better Spots pt 1" Cascais Nightlife Tip by firework_101
Cascais Nightlife: 18 reviews and 39 photos
BlueSwing is relatively new (summer of 2004) and it's one of the nicest places to go out to in Cascais, if you're not in the mood for discos and drunken fat men. There's live music just about every night, and a friendly bunch of people running it. It's very comfortable, you can choose to sit at the bar, or at little tables (both with high chairs) or on veeeery nice little red couch-booths and share a drink and a cigarette with your mates. Admission can be steep, sometimes ?10 minimum consumption, but if you play your cards right with the bouncer, you might get in cheaper. I mean, you're paying for the atmosphere, and it's the kind of place you can spend all night in.
Dress Code: Dress however you like, formal, casual, it's all cool there.
Address: Travessa Afonso Sanches 6B, Largo Camões
Directions: If you walk from the main square (where most of the bars are) in the direction of the town hall (or the beach, or the marina) simply take the first right when you leave the square. And there you are, it's on the right, first thing up the alley.
Theme: Live Music
