"Lions Gate Bridge" Vancouver Favorite Tip by chris_i79

Favorite thing: Connecting Vancouver with North Vancouver, The Lions Gate Bridge slices through Stanley Park and connects you to the Northern half of the city. The views of the city are fantastic and if you are there in rush hour you will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy them! If the bridge reminds you of a certain famous bridge in San Franciso, there is a reason. It was designed by the same man. The Vancouver version of the bridge is 3 lanes across with one lane being altered in direction depending on the traffic flow. There is no toll fee to cross the Lions Gate Bridge...just potentially 30min of your time if you are in rush hour traffic.
