Just like windmills, wooden, boat shaped clogs have become trademarks of Holland. They come in different colors and designs, and prices, too.

Before, I thought that these clogs are sold as souvenirs. It was only during our visit to the clog shop that I realized that it is also functional and can be worn daily. And that they really cost much.

To appreciate the clogs more, visitors to the clog shop were treated to a 15 minute demonstration on how to make a clog.

Directions: From the train station, walk straight ahead until you reach the end of the street. Turn left and, at the first traffic light, turn right to the direction of the bridge. Cross it and at its foot, is the small gate leading to the site.
