Favorite thing: The San Pedro Claver Church was built by the Jesuits in 1603 and later renamed for a canonized Spanish monk, who had served in the monastery connected to the church. Known as the Apostle of the Slaves, San Pedro Claver fed and ministered to the newly arrived slaves in Cartagena for 44 years.
