  Some of the Roman Ruins

Vaison La Romaine is famous for some of the oldest Roman ruins in France. I'm not really that interested in Roman history, but the walk I took past the ruins was beautiful and captivating. The town's Roman Ruins are next to the Tourist office and costs about 7 euros per person to get in. My friends and I were very tired, so we just walked around the park and despite not actually going inside got a very good look at the roman ruins any way. I felt guilty, and next time I'll pay to go in. There are still Roman archeological surveys going on throughout the city currently. The city is rich with roman history and culture. Some of the Roman statues and baths were very beautiful and impressive.

Address: Next to the Tourist office and Post Office
Directions: In the lower section, on the other side of town from the Medieval section.
