Very Clean, renovated Workers' Hotel. Staff very pleasant and helpful, some speak good English. They were very accomodating. Ordered cab for me that offered discount fare to city center. Restaurant is very clean and food was excellent outside of buffet breakfast and very. very reasonable. Bar was well-stocked and outside beer garden is pleasant. Hotel has fitness club w/sauna and jacuzzi, didn't use it, but seemed nice. Has billiard room, but wasn't open during my stay. Seemed to be coin-op, 8-ball table one finds in most American bars.
Rooms are smallish, but not unlike many more expensive European hotels I've stayed at. No tub in my room, just Euroshower with accordion doors and adjustable head. Had table and two chairs in room and dinky TV and ancient clock radio I couldn't figure out how to set alarm on. Did have cable TV however, got to watch BBC-Europe and MSNBC and a ton of German TV stations.
Breakfast Buffet is Euro-fare, if you aren't used to it, you may be taken aback. Euro-breakfast is more like American lunch. Did have cereal and fruit and pastries, however. Seemed to run out of hot water for tea often, though. Were a lot of Russians staying there when I was there, but some Americans, too.

Unique Qualities: Most rooms have balconies that afford a generous panoramic view toward downtown Warsaw or overlook Grochowska Blvd.
As I said above, Hotel has health club, free to guests, but I didn't use it, but it seemed to have all the standard torture machines one would expect. Has sauna and jacuzzi, too!
Hotel has mini-mart kiosk inside front entrance where one can purchase many personal items, including condoms, as well as newspapers and magazines. Hotel also has internet room one can use for 1 zloty per 15 minutes (about 25 cents). So you can check your e-mails or re-confirm other travel reservations without seeking an internet cafe, which seem to be numerous in downtown Warsaw, but not as cheap! Hotel doesn't seem to have any other hook-ups for laptop lovers.
If you drive or rent a car in Warsaw, they do have guarded, fenced parking on the premises, but it is about $5 a day to park for guests.
There is an open-air car park next to the hotel, also, but it is leased space by the month, you see that to the left, before you enter the hotel off Omulewska Street. So don't think that is the hotel parking, it isn't.
The hotel didn't have an ATM when I was there, but directly across the street are a bank and a credit union, both of which have ATMs. One of them is available 24 hrs.
It is not hard to get to, but is away from downtown. (See directions below). It is worth the extra few minutes travel, because the rooms are one-third or even cheaper than the downtown hotels. If you are on a budget, I would highly recommend staying there if you are visiting Warsaw.

Address: ul. Omulewska 24, Warsaw null
Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: Suburban: E of Warsaw S of Growchowska Blvd. In Growchow. Take any tram that has "Grochow" on the destination header.
10-15 minutes from Warsawa Centralna Train Station or Metro Station.

Price: less than US$20
Theme: Hotel
