"Emam square, the beating heart of old Esfahan" Bazaar- e- Bozor Tip by global_explorer

Bazaar- e- Bozor, Esfahan: 9 reviews and 14 photos

Emam Khomeini square measures some 500 meters in lenght, and 150 meters in with. Here you find magnificent architectire in the form of two amazing mosques and a palace covered in separate tips. The rest of the squares perimeter are made up of an unbroken fasade of small shops selling crafts to often inflated prices. In the northern end the huge bazar starts, uou can enter via the shops or an entrance in the end of the square. On the square itself there is a big rectangularfountainpool surrounded by grassfields and a broad walkway filled with people and sme horsecharriots. This place, especialy in the evening are filled with people having a good time, and it is the perfect spot to observe and meet locals, as well as tourists from other parts of Iran.

Address: Sepah Street
