"Beware Men! Don't expect that "close shave!"" Îles Tuamotu et Gambier Warnings Or Dangers Tip by Geisha_Girl

As in most of the more remote islands of French Polynesia, HOT water is a rarity.

You will find the sea water to be much warmer than your shower in most instances.

There is not much to warn about in Fakarava. It is one of the safest, friendliest places one could ever visit. The only sign of danger would be if Mother Nature decides to instill her wrath on the islands.

Other than that, if ya want a close shave, gentlemen, ask for a pot of boiled water from the kitchen staff!
