Anne Frank, a jewish girl, was hiding here in World War II. She and her family got caught and where transported to bergen-Belsen. Anne died there at the age of 16.

The Anne Frank house is the place she wrote her famous diary, which was published after the war. You can visit the rooms she and her family was hiding in, and get to know more about anti-semitism and the war.
