Davey Jones Ribs: "Safe Choice" Honolulu Restaurant Tip by pickleshine
Honolulu Restaurants: 297 reviews and 472 photos
I don't know how locals feel about this place, as it was full of tourists when I happened upon it. Whether you're there for dinner or just want to sit at the bar for a beer (and some sports on tv), this place has a casual, albeit nautical, atmosphere. If you're craving American food or have picky eaters in your party, this is safe choice in a central location.
Favorite Dish: Carnivores would be remiss not to have the ribs, as the name of the restaurant implies it's the specialty. I had the pork ribs and they were pretty tasty, though a big eater might be disappointed in the portion.
Address: 250 Lewers St. Honolulu, HI 96815
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: Off of Kalakaua, head south on Lewers. It starts to look like an alley, but you'll find Davey Jones Ribs on the right side not too far down.
