Windmill "Never Perfect" on top of it's bastion
by Pavlik_NL

On the bastionworks in the North-West of Gorinchem's old centre a windmill is watching over the small river "Linge" sliding through the large lock doors and inside the town. This windmill still works as a grane grinding place where oatmeal is sold to hobby bakers. When there is enough (or not to much) wind you can have a look inside and to the magnificent wooden wheels gripping in one another and turning on the energy of the wind. One can understand that in the old days, the windmill could get grane immediately of the ships along the "Linge" kay and transport it's flour by the same way. The windmill is named "Nooit Volmaakt" that can be translated in two ways: "Never Perfect" or "Never finished".
