The landscape in Crete is amazing and has very dramatic elements to it. The Korikos penninsula is the farthest part of western Crete. The next land mass is Malta to the west. The shear cliffs are amazing to see. This area is the closest you can get by car near the Minoan settlement of Falasarna. On top of this plateau there are other remnants of temples and and acropolis.

Directions: Up the hill from the Falasarna ruin site.
